"Chinalonese" Noble Woman
I made this illustration as part of a project where my team and I merged together two civilizations that had never crossed pathes: Babylon and Ancient China (circa 476 BC). This involved re-writing a whole period of history, since we had to make sure that Babylon would not fall to the Persians.
This illustration was meant to represent a wealthy, noble woman of the resulting new civilization. I had a lot of fun researching the trends of both Chinese and Babylonian clothing in order to come up with a "new-and-improved" version!

A board of various concepts for the clothing the noble woman would wear. This teal was later changed to a more primary blue in order to better represent the dyes available in the area at the time.
